Talent Management Associate (Temp Contract)
Support the evolution, implementation, and maintenance of IFF's Talent Management process ecosystem, with an emphasis on career planning and discussions, critical role succession management, and successor development.
This role will partner with the Director, Talent Management and Leadership development to support the needs of the organization and employees while driving interconnected talent processes that support execution of workforce plans and the business strategy.
This role will have significant impact and influence on how we deliver our Talent Philosophy, and the relationship employees have with IFF.
**Talent Management Process Support**:
- Assist the Director, Talent Management and Leadership Development in expanding the interconnection of IFF's talent processes; aligned with our Talent Philosophy and directly supportive of our workforce plans and business strategy
- Support the execution of our talent processes, with an emphasis on enterprise-wide conduct of integrated talent reviews as a vehicle for enabling our talent objectives.
- Perform planning, analysis and reporting activities for TM programs to determine program performance and effectiveness; alignment of practice and process with strategy, workforce plan and philosophy
- Be a trusted partner to HR leaders for analysis and best practice to support ongoing process development and improvement
- Translate process outcomes into succinct and actionable business insights, often in coordination with partners, to develop a holistic understanding
- Engage in regular communication and collaboration with internal stakeholders at all levels within the organization
**Leader Succession and Analysis
- Support the identification of critical roles within the organization, and development of their success profiles
- Manage the processes for developing career journeys and ladders, and supporting employees and managers in having effective career conversations
- Engage with Talent Managers and HR leaders to ensure relevant development plans are in place for critical roles; support the expansion of our talent pipeline
- Understand critical role pipeline challenges and collaborate with key stakeholders (Talent Manager, Talent Acquisition, Recruiters) to develop a strategy for addressing those challenges
**Project Management**:
- Provide project management support for the development of talent management events (senior level ITRs and country/regional Talent Councils)
- Support the integration of Talent Management and Leadership development calendar planning; an integrated and mutually supporting schedule
- Support in the development of communications, presentations and materials
- Manage the project for providing a guidebook for organizational leaders and their HR partners to create career ladders, enabling employees to better navigate their career journeys
- Develop a career guidebook that supports manager-employee conversations around careers and professional development
- Manage a project to identify critical roles at the top several layers of the organization, and develop success profiles for those roles over time
- Support the creation and execution of Regional Talent Councils, providing a forum for leaders to expand development opportunities for employees
**Job Requirements**:
- A college/university degree with at least five years of experience with talent management programs; master's degree in Human Resources or Organizational Development related topics preferred.
- Strong English language written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to facilitate live and virtual meeting sessions.
- Excellent multi-tasking and time-management skills, with strong project management capability.
- Demonstrated strong teamwork, collaboration and cross-cultural skills.
- Experience in conducting data gathering and analysis; drawing informed conclusions from diverse data sets
- Knowledge of Talent Management theories and practical implementation
- Familiarity with Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Excel and other related technologies preferred
- Creative, curious and have good ability to create insightful reports and presentations
- Highly collaborative, with effective communication and positive interpersonal skills; express own point of view with confidence
- Agile, resourceful, resilient, and self-driven
