Tax Advisor Purpose of the Job : Tax advisors or analysts are highly detail-oriented professionals who use a strong grasp of mathematics and excellent tax know-how to manage all tax paperwork for the company. The Tax Function is responsible for all tax affairs of the group worldwide, having a significant impact on net profit, earnings per share, and cash flow. The objective of the Tax Function is to deliver the highest quality and most business-oriented tax services in a timely and proactive manner.

Responsibilities: Be the guardian of the rules, ensuring proper compliance with regard to direct and indirect taxes. Manage day-to-day tax compliance with a good deal of independence and close relationships with business stakeholders and the finance community. Draft accurate tax reporting in relation to the Region for each Group deadline. Assist in preparing annual tax computations, including the tax provision for statutory accounts. Interact with finance teams to obtain reliable data and information for tax calculation. Monitor legislative changes ensuring internal processes and procedures are properly arranged. Co-manage tax audits with accounting. Provide tax advisory support for tenders involving multi-entity and multinational scope. Key Accountabilities: Provide tax support during tender activities while assessing and anticipating tax impacts based on applicable legislation and regulations. Assist during project execution to ensure smooth implementation of tax recommendations and compliance. Animate internal tax training sessions. Review and optimize international tenders, contracts, and projects in coordination with Operations and other support functions. Monitor cross-border payments, transfer pricing policy, and tax M&A related to projects. Support tax audits of foreign affiliates. Assist local finance contacts. Monitor rating for tax risks relating to projects. Educational Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent accounting experience. Three to five years of working experience in Multinational Companies, major Auditing Companies, or primary Tax Firms. Good knowledge of local and international accounting principles and tax legislation. Fluent in English and local language. Competencies & Skills: Strong computer technical skills - MS Excel. Strong organizational skills & attention to detail. Strong math skills for accurate financial information recording. Analytical skills. Strong communication skills - both oral and written. Team-player, customer-centric attitude. Ability to work in an international environment. Ability to work with cross-functional teams and proactively seek solutions or suggest improvements.
