We are currently seeking a Tax Officer, reporting directly to Tax Manager, to join our Finance team based in Rome, Italy.

About the Job

Your main missions and responsibilities, in cooperation with the other colleagues of the Statutory Tax Compliance, will be:

Tax compliance: Annual and Quarterly Corporate Income Taxes calculationsCorporate Income Taxes Returns preparation and submissionMonthly VAT calculationPeriodical VAT Communication and Annual VAT Returns preparation and submissionWithholding Tax Returns (Mod.

770), including the section of the form related to employees, preparation and submissionProperty tax on buildings calculationPayments related to taxes Tax Accounting: Deferred tax Assets/liabilities calculationsAnnual and Quarterly tax reporting for the Financial StatementsAccounting entries related to taxesPeriodical reconciliations of the taxes accounts Tax Advisory: VAT and Corporate Income Tax advisory to the other company departmentsCorresponds with the Italian Tax Authorities and the external auditorsSupport to the Tax Control Framework Committee for periodic tax risks controls About You

We'd love to hear from you if your profile meets the following essential requirements:

Qualifications: Bachelor Degree in Economics / Accounting

Languages: English Fluent

Experience: From 3 to 5 years in a similar role

Main Skills: Knowledge of Italian Taxes Rules, General Accounting Principles and Civil Code. Knowledge of Tax Tools and Software. Attitude to work in an international environment and in a teamwork mindset. Target oriented and cross-domain approach. Open to innovation. Certified Public Accountant (Dottore Commercialista) is a nice to have requirement. Whats next?
