**Functional area**: Project Development

Our Product Development & New Technologies department at RWE Renewables Onshore & PV Europe & Australia is responsible for developing innovative technologies and services and making them ready for development at scale across all relevant markets.

We are looking for a **Team Lead Product Development Solar (M/F/d)** to drive the development of innovative solar products like Agri-PV and Floating PV and shape tomorrow's green energy landscape in Europe and Australia with us.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Lead and further expand the solar product development team, which currently focuses on Agri-PV and Floating-PV (5 employees + working students/ interns), including all line management duties

- Develop and lead the solar product development programs, especially in Agri-PV and Floating-PV: Closely engage with the development leaders across 11 markets in Europe & Australia to identify needs and translate them into an actionable product development program, involving experts across multiple departments (e. g. , commercial, legal, engineering, etc.

)

- Drive the execution of the roadmaps by providing leadership and guidance to the solar product development team

- Facilitate co-leadership of first implementation projects by team members

- Drive structured lessons learnt processes and subsequently make the product ready for use in all relevant markets

- Co-ordinate and align overarching Agri-PV and Floating-PV activities across all 11 European & Australian markets and interfaces with the projects (e. g. , advocacy, communication, funding, market intelligence) as well as the Technical Innovation teams

- Strategically coordinate and prioritize team activities within the solar product development team in respect to interfaces with regulatory and political affairs, technical innovation, legal, finance and other departments and other internal stakeholders

- Represent RWE Renewables on Agri-PV and Floating PV related topics at local and regional stakeholder events, in networks and towards respective authorities

- Facilitate strategic optimization initiatives for solar products to optimize project budgets, objectives, schedules and deliverables

**Your qualification**:

- At least eight years of professional experience in preferably solar business development with ideally some of them in Floating PV or Agri PV development

- Proven track record or alternatively respective research leadership experience in Agri PV and/or Floating PV, onshore (wind/ PV/ storage) project development or strategy development

- Excellent knowledge of program and project management with a proven track record of managing project teams to achieve results in complex situations

- Comprehensive understanding of technical, economic and legal aspects of the development and execution of Floating-PV and Agri-PV projects

- Sound market knowledge of OPEA's energy markets and the permitting regulation Floating-PV and Agri-PV projects

- Entrepreneurial activity

- Fluent in written and spoken English with further European languages out of German, Italian, French, Spanish or Polish being a strong plus

- Willingness to travel on regular basis
