That's why it is so crucial for us to count on our Suppliers, one of the most strategic assets of our Company, and on the quality that they are delivering with their parts.
We are looking for a Supplier Quality Team Leader who will bring expertise and passion to drive supplier quality to the next level, improving our Company overall quality performances.
In our Purchasing Team, directly reporting to the Purchasing Manager, the **_Supplier Quality Team Leader_** drives his Team to focus on Supplier deliverables and to develop a quality-focused approach in daily business, being the person in the Company who is in charge to define and execute the quality growth strategy for our supply base.
In collaboration with Sourcing, Production and Engineering Teams, the Supplier Quality Team Leader ensures the purchased goods are supplied according to the PC Quality targets and that all Suppliers are acting in agreement with the Atlas Copco Ethical Code, standards, and specific requirements.
**What will you deal with in this role?
- Lead the Supplier Quality function and report summary of activities in the main Company forums.
- Assign targets and assess the team members performances.
- Manage the qualification and introduction of new suppliers, in agreement with Sourcing Team's strategy.
- Cooperate with Sourcing Team, providing relevant insights about supplier performances and take part in the definition of the commodity strategies.
- Guide the implementation of the quality growth plans at suppliers.
- Supervise main Supplier Quality KPIs to ensure corrective actions implementation, progressively preserve and improve the performances mainly in terms of PPM and NC frequency.
- Plan and execute the on-site audits.
- Promote trainings for suppliers to spread the knowledge and use of the main quality tools, like Statistical Process Control, risks analysis and prevention (FMEA), Control Plans, 8D, PPAP methodology, etc.
- Coordinate supply chain trade compliance and sustainability program in cooperation with Business Area and Divisional teams.
- Promote Technical Review approach as the method to identify potential problems in advance and plan improvements in relation to new sourced components and materials during new products development phase.
- Streamline the metrology pipeline and incoming inspection processes to guarantee efficiency and effectiveness.
- Further develop and lead the implementation of the Parts Qualification Process within the PC and in the Divisional processes.
- Develop collaboration network with the colleagues working in other Divisions and Business Areas of Atlas Copco Group, leveraging synergies and share strategies with common suppliers and/or common commodities.
- Establish a constructive collaboration with Plant Quality and Aftermarket in order to define technical solutions and fix supplier related quality issues impacting production FTR and field performance.

Excellent relational and communication skills, both in Italian and English languages, are essential for the interaction with external and internal stakeholders.
Being well organized, proactive and accountable are crucial for this the role.
Consistency between words and actions, act honestly and directly with people, transparently addressing feedback and ensure timely appropriate action in issues resolution.
Autonomy in planning and carrying out tasks, follow up topics, bring the team to the target and close the loops.
