Join us on our journey for a better tomorrow. Job description Atlas Copco is currently looking for a SQA (Supplier Quality Assurance) Team Leader to join the Sourcing Department of its manufacturing facility Ceccato Aria Compressa located in Montecchio Maggiore (Vicenza).

In this position you will report to the Purchasing Manager and develop the SQA team as well as the processes within your area of responsibility to achieve further efficiency.

While keeping responsibility for certain commodities, the main part of your mission will be safeguarding results, timing, and resources for ongoing and future product development and sourcing projects.

Some of Your responsibilities will be: Defining and implementing the Supply quality strategy for several Commodities. Managing your team to operate efficiently in:Implementing improvement programs at Suppliers' premises and controlling their developmentScheduling, in collaboration with the Buyers, new Suppliers' approval audits and qualification update audits with existing Suppliers (Audit Plan)Performing process audits during development projects or resourcingPerforming activities of controlling incoming material and reporting non-conformities to SuppliersActively supporting colleagues from Production once it is neededIdentifying the items in "To Inspect"Opening, adding detailed information, and concluding the rejection reports; managing the flow of non-conforming goodsExperience requirements

Quality background of some years of experience as a project leader, or alternatively some years of experience as leader/team leader in other technical oriented departments (engineering, production).

Experience in project management or supply chain management is an asset.

Knowledge requirements

Knowledge and use of the main qualitative procedures and tools (Managing Systems, ISO , ISO/TS , Auditing, Corrective and Preventive Actions, FMEA, Control Plans, Measurement System Analysis, SPC, Control Documents, Process Capability…)

Reading and understanding technical documentation (design and specifications)

Knowledge of the Project Management

3 to 5 years' experience in production/technical departments in Lean manufacturing organized companies is a preferable title.

Educational requirements

Engineering Degree or equivalent experience.
