Technical Buyer Electronics

That's why it is so crucial for us to count on our Suppliers, one of the most strategic assets of our Company.
We are looking for a **Technical Buyer** with strong **Electronics background** who will bring experience and passion to manage and optimize the Electrical / Electronic supply base, furtherly improving our overall business performances.
**What will you deal with in this role?
- Analyzing product specifications in order to develop supply strategies and action plans for assigned commodities and achieve optimal costs, quality level, efficiency, logistics, and delivery schedules.
- Enabling correct procurement of parts and components in accordance with the PC's forecast and growth strategies, or related to the new product development projects.
- Developing suppliers to meet PC standards, in compliance with evolving requirements in regulations, safety, environment, and Atlas Copco rules.
- Developing strong network of vendors who can deliver zero defect parts and components at competitive prices and ensuring such parts and components comply with PC product specifications and market requirements.
- Developing prototypes suppliers base accordingly with R&D and products development plans in order to continuously reduce Time to Market.
- Evaluating existing and potential suppliers using Atlas Copco procedures and standards to determine the supplier's financial stability, technical capabilities, quality, logistics performance and cost structure.
- Specifically working on projects that will improve PC profitability, quality and time-to-market.
- Supporting IT systems introduction and process integration with other departments.
- Achieving assigned KPIs in the areas of sustainability, TCO, on-time-delivery, quality, financials.
- Challenging the status-quo by fostering innovation from supply markets and bringing in new ideas.
- Negotiating prices and terms with vendors and implementing appropriate supply agreements.
**What we expect from you?
We are looking for a high-energy performer, willing to put in the extra effort needed to meet the demands of the job.
Excellent analytical, critical thinking and problem solving skills, as well as a hands-on mentality would be ideal for this role.
Strong oral and written communication skills, as well as interpersonal and leadership skills are key.
You also have:
- At least 3 years of experience in sourcing area - electronics - in manufacturing companies.
- Demonstrated expertise in procurement and supply management processes.
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate prices, terms & conditions, contracts.
- Very good knowledge of ERP systems (SAP MM is a strong plus)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office basic tools, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams.
- Knowledge of main manufacturing mechanics technologies, mechanical drawings and plastic injection mold process are a strong plus.
- Knowledge of Industrial tools business is a strong plus.
- Knowledge of specific Office365 tools such as SharePoint, PowerBI is a plus.
