We are looking for a Junior Technical Development Manager who will be responsible for providing technical support in analyzing renewable energies opportunities and origination processes, as well as supporting the company in closing the financing of their projects.

This position can be based in Milan or Rome.

Key Responsibilities:Scope: The Technical Development Engineer will be responsible for providing technical support in analyzing renewable energies opportunities and origination processes, as well as supporting the company in closing the financing of their projects.

Responsibilities:BESS Technical support: Provide technical support to origination, BD and Storage teams to assess opportunities. Provide technical support to FNTP, construction and operation teams. Prepare BESS reporting for the Business intelligence team. Prepare the layout and site assessments for BESS projects, ensuring compliance with both technical and regulatory requirements. Prepare capex, opex estimation for BESS projects. Build expertise on BESS topics. BESS Project Manager from origination to permitting submission: Develop and manage the BESS project acting as the project manager from the HO from origination up to HO to BD Project Manager. Prepare internal approvals. Coordinate with all internal teams to ensure that the project is aligned with the development strategy and meets all requirements to move forward. Manage permitting process for BESS projects, including coordination with local authorities, external consultants, and technical teams, including associated administrative tasks. Qualifications:Engineering degree in civil, mechanical, or electrical (preferable). At least 2-4 years of work experience in the solar PV industry working for an Engineering or Development firm. Desirable: 1-2 years of proven experience in the environmental impact assessment of renewable assets. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Italian is a plus. Ability to write technical reports in English and proficient in MS Office. Ability to perform detail-oriented, critical reviews of technical documentation. Self-motivated and able to work without supervision. Experience of developing proposals for work, including budgets and scopes of work. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Experience in using Autocad, MS project, and pvsyst. Advanced experience in Geographic Information software: ArcGIS, QGIS or ArcView. Strong interest in renewable energy: solar PV, wind onshore/offshore. Willingness to travel up to 50%. Ability to work in a fast-paced start-up environment.
