Technical Field Sales Manager (Industrial Sales) Location: Remote from TN, TX, GA, AL Salary: $90, 000 - $120, 000 Annual Bonus (Target 20%, but up to 40%) Company Car Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability, Life Insurance, 401K w/ Match, 11 Paid Holidays, PTO Job Type: Full-Time Start Date: ASAP Sponsorship: Not available Territory: Southern United States (TX, OK, KS, MO, AR, LA, MS, TN, AL, GA, FL, SC, NC) Travel: 60%-70% (on the road 3-4 days/week average) Job Description Our client specializes in engineering and technical solutions for the foundry industry and is looking for a Technical Field Sales Manager to add to their team. In this role, you will call on foundry customers primarily located in the southern United States to understand their business needs and offer a consultative solutions-based approach. The ideal candidate will be a proven hunter who has experience growing a territory through relationship building and leveraging engineering teams to support technical sales in an industry such as foundry, steel, chemical, industrial supply, or adjacent. To be successful, you must have strong business acumen, a growth mindset, and be a self-starter who is accountable for your success and quality of work produced. Responsibilities Combine technical and commercial sales acumen to expand market share Strategically develop new accounts in your assigned territory Coordinate with distribution partners in your assigned territory to increase sales Build new relationships through regular engagements, face-to-face meetings, & cold calling Utilize a consultative approach to understanding customer needs, pain points, and service gaps Consult with technical resources such as Engineering, R&D, & Product Managers Create and execute a sales plan, including forecasting by account & pipeline potential Map out your weekly itinerary for in-person customer visits (target 15 per month) Meet with plant managers, tour facilities, and assess business needs Coordinate technical meetings and product trials Support new product launch initiatives for highly diversified end-customers Learn and adapt chemical engineering concepts to align with customer needs Qualifications Bachelor's degree is required 3 years of B2B technical & consultative sales experience in an industrial field is required Experience growing a territory through hunting and relationship development is required Strong experience with Excel (Ex: formulas) to calculate forecasts & sales projections is required Ability to travel 80% (on the road 4-5 days/wk. , overnight 2 days/wk. ) is required J-18808-Ljbffr
