We are looking for a Senior Technical Program Manager with expertise in electrical system design, inspection, testing, and maintenance. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated individual with a proven track record of designing & improving electrical system maintenance programs & policies, proficient in creating road-maps for the standardization and centralization of installation, commissioning, & inspection processes, and has the ability to perform in-depth analysis of trends in electrical system reports & internal/external audit findings related to electrical & related risks.

Key job responsibilities Use electrical distribution expertise to develop programs, projects, network initiativesProvide subject matter expertise in electrical distribution for protective relaying, switchgear, power transformers, power quality, complex electrical design and retrofits, root cause analysis, preventive maintenance, and any need that may arise within the global electrical engineering teamSupport annual budgeting cycles and planningDevelop and improve maintenance programs and policies for electrical systems at warehouse locations, including audits of existing programs in compliance with local codes and global standardsPerform detailed calculations to establish standards and specificationsInspect installations and observe operations to ensure compliance with design and equipment specificationsSupport operations, construction, and other relevant departments with electrical engineering expertiseAudit electrical systems to identify deviations and corrective actionsMonitor trends in electrical system maintenance reports, and escalate as necessary to drive improvements to maintenance activities, or immediate corrective actions to electrical systemsDevelop and improve installation, commissioning, and inspection processes, including audit practices, related to electrical systemsProvide 24x7 support to network emergency electrical needs BASIC QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's Degree in Electrical EngineeringElectrical engineering experience in power distribution systems as an operational, maintenance, or projects engineerExperience using electrical engineering softwareKnowledge of electrical automation processesExperience in Operational Maintenance role(s)Experience managing electrical specific programs at scaleWritten and verbal communication skills PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Experience managing programs and projects across the European continentProfessional Engineering certificationsProven ability to analyze and troubleshoot power distribution systemsStrong project/team management capabilitiesAble to problem solve and troubleshoot as the need arises Amazon is an equal opportunities employer.
