Technical Program Manager II
Independently drives execution of technical projects within or across a small set of teams, and acts as a force multiplier to free the team to focus on technical delivery.
What you will do:
- Leads Agile ceremonies without supervision.
- Assists on software development projects where Agile engineering methods (e. g. , Extreme Programming, Feature Driven Development) are applied.
- Tracks project schedule by obtaining input from working team.
- Keeps relevant stakeholders informed of progress toward or changes to task timing that impacts the project schedule.
- Maintains program/project documentation and corresponding meetings as needed.
- Tracks issues and mitigation plans for risk management.
- Tracks and reports on project budget as needed.
- Leads technical, unambiguous projects under supervision.
- Starts to interface with stakeholders and drive some collaboration efforts solutions to issues.
- Independently executes tasks and/or provides data to support implementation of holistic solutions that forge linkages between structure, people, process and technology.
- Recognizes & follow patterns that exist inside and across systems.
- Identifies areas where efficiency and process improvement are needed within their own work area.
- Able to articulate and present process improvement ideas to the wider business. - Applies new ideas or approaches to own work to enhance outputs.
- Uses established tools and techniques to track progress related to implementing process improvements.
- Carries out stages of the product development lifecycle bringing a product to market by supporting the different phases and improving product performance.
- Supports the Product Manager by learning about the various stages of the product development lifecycle.
- Coordinates and facilitates conversations regarding product development lifecycle in their immediate team.
- Refines understanding of the organization's processes, objectives and challenges and their impact on the business.
- Develops an understanding of (internal and external) customers' needs, and begins to develop the skills necessary to help customers understand business challenges.
- Understands current business environment & objectives.
- Seeks relevant information to ensure own understanding of complex information.
- Anticipates and assists team members in the creation of routine technical communication materials (e. g. , policies & procedures, guidelines, presentations, messages).
- Anticipates the needs of the different audience groups in the business unit/function that receive technical communications and how they differ from each other.
- Demonstrates an understanding of functional technical information (e. g. user flows, technical system design and workflows).
- Clearly and confidently articulates decision-making rationale, solutions, methodologies and frameworks to team members and both technical and non-technical partners.
- Anticipates and assists team members in the creation of routine technical communication materials (e. g. , policies & procedures, guidelines, presentations, messages).
- Proactively contributes to cross team collaboration ensuring the best available information is included in analysis and shares findings with peers and leaders.
- Considers the audience's needs and context when crafting solutions or presenting ideas and is able to identify how the needs of different audiences may differ.
- Exhibits knowledge of the organization's processes, objectives, and challenges and their impact on the business.
Who you are:
- Experience: 2 - 4 years
- Understands capabilities required and can articulate them.
- Relevant experience required or (higher education)

- Process Skills and Techniques
- Applies knowledge of the software. development lifecycle and the various agile engineering practices that can be used (e. g. , in planning, requirements analysis, design, coding, unit testing, acceptance testing).
- Understands the pros and cons of Agile methodologies.
