Siemens Energy is on the lookout for a Technical Project Manager to join our Electrification Automation Digitalization Marine Solution business based in Milan.

This role is an outstanding opportunity to become a part of our dynamic and rapidly growing Operation Center Engineering & Service Team.

The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting the team throughout the entire design process, with a special emphasis on providing expertise in all the projects phases including commissioning, warranty, and after-sales service activities.

You will be at the forefront of our efforts to deliver innovative marine solutions that incorporate the latest in automation and power generation technologies.

How You Will Make An Impact

Lead the technical project lifecycle from conception to delivery, including design, development, testing, and deployment for project of hybrid propulsion systems in various maritime vessels (f. i.

Yacht, passengers/research vessels)Coordinate with multiple technical teams and vendors to ensure seamless integration of componentsCollaborate with the project manager to achieve the project budget and ensure that project activities are aligned with the plan and financial targetsEnsure compliance with maritime regulations, safety standards, and classification society requirements.

Adhere to health, safety, and environmental rules and policies at all locationsOrganize and supervise the commissioning at the customer's site to validate the system before its delivery to the shipownerDuring the warranty phase, analyze the systems during their operation with the aim of improving their performance and providing the customer with excellent quality systems. What You Bring

At least 5 years of experience in a technical leadership role within the marine industry, with a shown expertise in the design, implementation, and management of electro-technical systems for hybrid propulsion applicationsBachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering, Marine Engineering, or a related fieldFluency in English and Italian is requiredFamiliarity in coordinating the integration of power management systems with other hybrid propulsion components, such as electric motors, generators, and energy storage solutionsAbility to work in a multidisciplinary and diverse team, including colleagues from other countriesWillingness to travel frequently in Italy and abroad.
