JOB TITLE: Technical Safety LeadBUSINESS LINE: Energy CarriersDEPARTMENT: Naval/ Technical Safety & EnvironmentTechnical Safety Lead – Naval ExperienceThe Technical Safety Lead with experience in naval applications executes and/or coordinates technical safety engineering activities for FPSO and FNLG applications and for different project phases, from Feasibility Studies to Front-End and Detail Engineering design. Profile main tasksManage and discuss topics and issues relating to risks analysis activities (QRA, FERA, etc. ), safety studies and safety related activities (fire fighting, hazardous area classification, passive fire and cold/cryogenic spill protection, Fire & Gas, etc). Coordinate and manage process hazard and risk management activities such as HAZID, HAZOP, SIL/LOPA, etc. Manage and possibly perform activities relevant to Functional Safety Lifecycle, Technical Integrity, Human Factor Engineering, etc. Interface with Clients on technical issues. Manage interfaces with other technical disciplines concerning technical issues and with project management team concerning project control activities, such as scheduling and budgeting. Manage engineering sub-contractors and Suppliers activities. Prepare technical safety reports and deliverables as needed. Contribute with specific expertise to highly skilled multi-disciplinary team. Coordinate Environmental activities, such as emissions, air quality, noise, GHG, etc. Contribute to the development and to the continuous technical improvement of internal work methodologies and procedures. Profile minimum requirements:Minimum of 7 years' proven experience in Technical Safety activities, especially in naval applications/projects such as, but not limited to, FPSO and FLNG. Availability to long-term and short-term business trips/contracts. Confident in interfacing with Clients and all other Project stakeholders. In-depth understanding of safety studies and risk management, e. g. QRA, FERA, BRA, Marine Risk Assessment, Dropped Objects Risk Assessment, Safety Case, etc. Advanced knowledge of English language. Advanced skills in the most common MS Office applications and Office365 suite. Self-motivated thinker able to work both independently and as a part of a larger Team. Additional profile skills and competences:Good communication, problem-solving and decision making. Strong attitude to collaborate with colleagues also by means of IT / digital tools. Ability to manage the project team composed by specialists with various seniority. Ability to manage teams during workshops and review meetings. Ability to manage a multicenter Technical Safety Project Team. LOCATION: MilanoMOBILITY: Possibility of long term Transfers in the national and territory and abroad.
