The candidate promotes and sells Pure-Flo and EnviZion (PF) products directly in the market and through distributors, representatives, and Engineering Firms (A&E's). The candidate is a hands-on salesperson who spends most of their time traveling in the region visiting customers to discover new opportunities and increase sales. They discover new sales opportunities with existing and new customers, coordinate quote activities, and chase orders to maximize product sales. The candidate develops new OEM accounts that build skids and systems. Furthermore, they will be responsible for discovering and exploring large CAPEX projects by End-users with the result of getting ITT valves sold and installed. The territory will initially be Belgium, Italy, Spain, CH, A, F, and Hungary. Markets and territory may change in the future. The candidate is expected to support other activities in the region when required by the Sales Director EMEA, India & APAC. Uses persuasion, logic, and product expertise to promote and sell the various valves/products to end users, Engineering companies (A&E accounts), Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM), and distributors. Develops and expands the distribution network in the territory. Discovers and works on new CAPEX projects to get PF valves specified and installed. Responsible for the entire sales process, from lead generation until aftermarket support in the region. Maintains an up-to-date territory plan and works accordingly. Travels nationally and internationally approximately 60% of the time to visit key accounts and distributors to achieve intensive customer contacts. Performs specification work for day-to-day business and on projects with A&E's, OEM's, and End-Users. Conducts product information seminars and training for end users, A&E accounts, distributors, and representatives. Assists distributors and representatives' sales personnel in making sales calls and securing orders for PF products. Provides ITT with detailed information on the competitive landscape in the territory. Maintains reports for active projects and opportunities and supports the monthly reporting and forecasting process in a timely manner. Communicates extensively with the direct supervisor on all customers, sales channels, and company matters. Maintains up-to-date distributor/representative sales action plans, monitors, and reports progress towards goals. Reports to and follows the directions given by the Sales Director EMEA, India & APAC. Position Requirements QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. S. ) in Business, Marketing, or a technical field is preferred. At least 5 years of outside technical valve sales experience is preferred. Channel management experience, sale of valves or related products, or other capital equipment is preferred. LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports and business correspondence. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. The candidate must be fluent in German and English (verbally and in writing). MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. REASONING ABILITY Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
