About the role We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Multiomics Sales Specialist, with a strong focus on proteomics, to join our innovative sales team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in multiomics technologies and a proven track record of sales success within the life sciences industry. As a Multiomics Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth by promoting and selling our comprehensive suite of multiomics products and services to academic institutions, pharmaceutical companies, biotechnology firms, and research laboratories.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and expand market share within the multiomics segment, with a strong focus on proteomics. Drive towards meeting or exceeding sales quotas by actively engaging in sales activities, delivering technical expertise throughout the sales process, and providing effective consultations on applications, assay design, and data analysis/interpretation. Identify and qualify sales leads, cultivate new business opportunities, and establish strong relationships with key decision-makers in the multiomics research community. Conduct product presentations, technical demonstrations, and consultative discussions to showcase the value proposition of our integrated multiomics solutions. Align and contribute to strategic territory plans in collaboration with other Specialists, Territory Account Managers (TAMs) and District Sales Managers (DSMs). Collaborate closely with existing territory account managers, sales specialists and manager to boost multiomics sales. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product management and service and support, to ensure alignment of sales efforts with company objectives and customer needs. Stay abreast of emerging trends, market dynamics, and competitive intelligence in the multiomics landscape to inform sales strategies and capitalize on new business opportunities. Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to raise brand awareness, foster thought leadership, and engage with prospective customers. Serve as a trusted advisor to customers, offering expert guidance and support to help them navigate the complexities of multiomics research and achieve their scientific objectives. Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in life sciences, bioinformatics, molecular biology, or related field; Ph. D. is a plus. Minimum of 5 years of proven sales experience in the life sciences industry, with a focus on multiomics products and services. In-depth knowledge of multiomics (with a special focus on proteomics) technologies, platforms, methodologies, and applications. Strong understanding of life science markets, with a demonstrated ability to identify customer needs, articulate value propositions, and drive sales engagements. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex scientific concepts to diverse audiences. Self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven mindset, with a passion for customer success and a track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets. Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed (up to 60% travel may be required). Fluency in business English and Spanish or Italian is required.
