Introduction

**Your Role and Responsibilities

This is an exciting and dynamic Client facing opportunity to utilize your organization skills.

Working with all levels on the Client side and across IBM Teams to coordinate, track and report on the progression of the Sales opportunity

**1.

Pre-sales assistance

a) Lead and manage the due diligence process.

Activities may include: delivering questionnaires to customer, coordinating and tracking the completion of questionnaires, facilitating data collection if needed, delivering completed questionnaires to the Technical Sales Specialists for review, coordinating customer calls if needed to complete due diligence, gathering estimates from the Technical Sales Specialists for each workstream, regular reviews with Solutions Specialists on status, updating the Due Diligence sheet.

b) Assist the Solutions Specialists, as needed, in creating the customer presentation to present the due diligence results, migration process, preliminary timeline, etc.

c) Co-own with the Solutions Specialists the Migration Estimate Quality Assurance (MEQA) To-Do Checklist process.

**2.

Contracts

a) Complete and submit SOW request form.

Includes defining scope of work, IBM/BP and customer responsibilities, estimates, timeline, services credit information (if applicable), etc.

b) Track progress of SOW

c) Coordinate resolution of any issues in completing SOW

**3.

Execution

a) Engage with assigned Project Manager to transition from pre-sales to post-sales.

Activities may include SOW walkthrough, ensuring PM has Work Numbers, resource planning

b) Attend project kick-off meeting in a supporting role

b) Act as first point of escalation for projects the Program Manager is overseeing

**Required Technical and Professional Expertise

- A minimum of 5 years' experience in Mainframe Technical Sales OR Mainframe Project Management

- Knowledge of IBM z Software products

- Exceptional written and oral communication skills in English and German

- Leading large due diligence projects

- Hosting quality assurance reviews

**Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

- Expert knowledge of Z software products including: Z Workload Scheduler and Automation, Omegamon, Z Decision Support, Z Capacity Planning, CL/SuperSession, GIT/DBB, RACF, Z Storage products

- Knowledge of the Z products that compete against IBM z Software

- Experience in putting a Statement of Work together

- 5 years of mainframe technical sales in addition to mainframe project management
