Technical Service Coordinator
Siemens Energy is looking for a Technical Customer Service Coordinator for the Electrification Automation Digitalization (EAD) Solutions Business Unit located in Milan. Our customers are Shipbuilders and their service teams, Yacht/Vessels Captains, chief engineers, Papermills, and other productive industries in which our solutions are installed. You will join a dynamic and growing Service Team, playing a crucial role in ensuring high-quality services to our customers efficiently, optimally, and proactively. How You'll Make an Impact Provide technical support to service personnel and clients to resolve complex technical issues and ensure systems operate correctly. Coordinate and lead the team of technicians, ensuring that maintenance and service activities are carried out efficiently and professionally. Plan preventive and corrective maintenance activities to ensure the optimal functioning of the solution, prioritizing requests based on contractual agreements or opportunities in collaboration with the Project and Service team. Handle resources, including materials, tools, and suppliers, necessary to perform service activities efficiently and in compliance with safety standards. Establish and manage relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met and timely, high-quality solutions are provided. Provide ongoing training and support to service personnel to ensure they stay up to date with new technologies and maintenance methodologies. Implement KPIs and customer satisfaction metrics in cooperation with service management and EAD targets. What You Bring High school education in industrial automation or a degree in engineering automation and control, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Commissioning and service background for at least 4-5 years in relevant fields is required. Knowledge of variable frequency drives and synchronous and asynchronous motors, including commissioning and service activities. Fluency in Italian and English, both spoken and written. Additional EU languages are highly appreciated. Driver's license: B. Control systems theory applicable to an inland DC Grid and electro-technical fundamentals related to low voltage distribution grids. Ability to work in a multidisciplinary and diverse team, including colleagues from other countries. Customer orientation, with a strong ability to multitask and prioritize work.
