In order to strengthen our local Service team, we are looking for Technical Service Specialist (TSS) to manage the technical support activities and customer service activities.

The Technical Service Support is at the core of an extensive support network of Service Personnel worldwide, providing technical know-how and analysis to our base of Field Service Technicians. The Technical Services Support possesses a strong background in the principles of basic mechanical and/or electrical systems. They think logically and enjoy solving problems with creativity, diligence, and achievement.

The Technical Service Specialist (TSS) plays an important role within the BU Service & Performance of our company as it conveys knowledge and experience about flexographic and eventually digital printing processes.

The responsibilities of this role relate to the complete follow-up of the Bobst customers in the specific geographical area assigned, aiming to ensure they meet the market requirements concerning their product applications according to the full potential of their Bobst printing equipment, teaching them for this scope.

Main Responsibilities: Equipment troubleshooting (mechanical and/or electrical)Customer support via telephone, remotely via remote connection to the machine (Bobst connected services), and occasionally at customer siteSupport Field Service Technicians and Spare Parts with parts analysis and troubleshootingProactively recommending service, upgrades, and maintenance programsThe TSS works closely with the local technical support team and/or with the related teams in the production facilities in Italy and/or SwitzerlandCompetencies and Skills: The knowledge of further printing processes (e. g. , digital, offset, etc. ) is considered a plus;Good technical understanding and manual skillsBasic understanding of mechanical drawings, electrical diagrams, and machine layoutsWork carefully, with attention to detail, and solution-oriented; being able to work both independently and in a teamFeeling comfortable using Office 365 and excellent use of a laptopEducation and Languages: Mandatory technical school graduateComputer literacy is highly valuedFluent in speaking and writing in Italian and English; a further language is considered a plusSeveral years of related technical experience in a similar role within the printing and converting equipment industry is considered an added valueFor more than 130 years, and in over 50 countries, BOBST has always been at the forefront of innovation and we want to accelerate connectivity, digitalization, automation, and sustainability to make packaging better than ever.
