We are looking for a Technical Service Specialist to join our Process Automation business.
You will ensure that the Service portfolio is delivered effectively according to ABB standard processes and safety guidelines to satisfy customers.
You will execute technical support, act as specialist, and solve problems in your own expertise area.
You will proactively communicate both with the customer and ABB sales teams to ensure customer needs are understood and business opportunities utilized for Service growth.
**This position reports to**:
Service Sales Support Manager
**Your responsibilities**:
- Provide technical support and solve problems in own expertise area via remote or on-site service in any Service category (installation and commissioning; maintenance; repairs; engineering and consulting; advanced services; extensions, upgrades and retrofits; end of life services, replacements, etc.
).
- Investigate customer needs through professional consulting.
Provide technical consulting on Service solutions to management and customers.
Manage customer relationships and maintain regular contacts with key customers.
Identify new sales opportunities, proactively communicating both with the customer and ABB sales teams to ensure customer needs are understood and business opportunities utilized for Service growth.
- Conduct specialist support and advisory service for Sales team.
- Coordinate and perform specialist Service projects in relevant areas internally and externally (e. g.
create milestones, project plan, cost supervision, action steps, project reviews, project supervision) including all commercials.
- Prepare all documents and reports to be signed by the customer representative.
Report work done in a timely manner and follows up when needed.
- Proactively identify suggestions for product and quality improvement and communicate them further in the ABB organization.
Provide recommendations to management to improve operations and customer service.
**Your background**:
- Chemical / electrotechnical high school license;
- Experience of at least 3 years in related sectors is a plus;
- Ability to use instrumentation such as testers for analysis and verification of operations;
- Good knowledge of the English language;
- Accuracy, attention to detail, problem solving attitude.
Reliability, seriousness and good communication skills.
