We are currently looking for a Technical Service Specialist to join us at our facility in Pistoya. Technical Service Specialist Essential Functions:Has a good knowledge of coatings and application methods. Work with Axalta Sales and Technical resources to deliver the best outcomes. Manage customer relationships - including technical support and service, line issues, supply chain support, and future planning. Provide technical direction and assistance to customers on the use of products; serves as an expert with a working knowledge of multiple technologies and may involve multiple sites. Troubleshoot and resolve problems on customer sites. Provide customer training. Serve as a customer liaison with the Axalta organisation. Ability to travel typically 80%. Support new customer start-ups and business development opportunities.
Manage existing CV accounts in Italy and develop networks/relationships with potential new CV customers to support future business growth. Culture Champion:Cultivate a strong team culture by enhancing and building highly effective and collaborative cross-functional relationships throughout the business.
Through integrity and dependability, build relationships at all levels to help support change initiatives that help teams deliver value. Continuously identify ways to improve by engaging with staff and bringing perspective on new ideas. Qualifications:Paint skills - colour knowledge, paint application knowledge defect ID knowledge (sag, crater, dirt). Instrumentation knowledge (e. g.
BYK Gardner, RIQ, X-Rite, Gloss, dft). Friendly, outgoing personality. Knowledge of mix room functions – inventory control, usage, material validation. Collect validate data – e. g.
appearance, film builds, colour etc. Problem solver. Language: Fluent Italian and a good level of English.
