Crew Manager / Head of HR presso Venture Ship Management Europe SrlVenture Ship Management Europe, leading provider of comprehensive ship management services, is seeking a talented and highly motivated Technical Superintendent to join our growing team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the technical operations of a fleet of vessels, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, and supporting safe and efficient vessel operations.

Key Responsibilities: Oversee the technical management of a fleet of vessels, including tankers, bulk carriers, containerships, offshore and yachts. Develop and implement maintenance plans, including dry-docking schedules and planned maintenance systems (PMS). Monitor vessel performance, including fuel consumption, speed, and technical efficiency. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including SOLAS, MARPOL, and flag state requirements. Conduct and/or participate in vessel inspections, audits, and surveys. Liaise with class societies, regulatory bodies, and external suppliers. Investigate and resolve technical and operational issues. Provide technical support to shipboard personnel. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the technical department. Stay abreast of industry developments and best practices. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, or proven on board experience as Marine Engineer. Minimum 2 years of experience as a Technical Superintendent within a ship management company. Strong knowledge of maritime regulations, class rules, and safety standards. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in using technical software and computer applications. Strong analytical and decision-making abilities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent command of English language (written and spoken). Based in Genova zone or available to move. Competitive salary and benefits package.
