Technical Training Instructor – Bergamo
Due to our continued growth, we are recruiting for a Technical Training Instructor to join the Engineering Training department.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about aviation and interested in teaching a wide range of aircraft engineering topics to our staff, whether at the start of their career or at the top of their profession.
The successful candidate will promote training and support the highest standards maintained by the company. The successful person will be responsible for ensuring:Delivery of all technical training to engineering staff to the highest industry standards, including but not limited to:Delivery of all technical training associated with business needs across all airlinesDelivery of Part 145 theoretical and practical trainingDelivery of specialised type-specific trainingPreparing technical training and improving our current coursesDevelopment of instructor materials (course outlines, lesson plans, background material, instructional materials, and training aids)Being conversant with EASA regulations and ensuring regular review of all procedures/regulations relevant to the training course being deliveredExtensive ability to develop and approve training material using various training delivery methods (classroom, eLearning, Virtual, etc.
)Capability to deliver technical training in a practical mannerMaintain and develop the training centres for further learning enhancements across all levels of trainingDemonstrate a hands-on attitudeStrong organisational skills to build and deliver effective training programsClear communication (written & oral) and presentation skillsWe are looking for someone to join our team who has experience in aircraft technical training or within aircraft engineering.
The successful candidate should be keen to learn, provide new ideas to the training team, and interact openly with the wider network.
You must also be a great communicator, as you will work with different nationalities, diversities, and ages.
We seek someone who is meticulous, has a good attitude, and is a fun, positive, and open-minded person!RequirementsMust hold UK/EASA Part 66 Licence or Aerospace Engineering degree or have evidence of previous employment in aircraft technical training or 5 years' experience in aircraft engineering. Experience in reviewing regulations/compliance-based proceduresA keen eye for detail and ability to escalate issues to the management teamAbility to plan and work to deadlines set by managementGood working knowledge of Office 365, and eagerness to learn new programs/software toolsAbility to scrutinise and supply constructive critique where non-compliance may be foundEffective communicator who interacts with the team through all types of communication (verbal, face-to-face, virtual)Open-minded, eager to learn new skills, and bring new ideas to the teamStrong work ethic with responsibility for their own work and timely completionFlexible and able to adapt to change quicklyAbility to work under pressure to meet deadlinesAbility to seek and find solutions and address them to the management teamExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsMust hold a valid UK/EU passport and be willing to travel as required by the business.
