MissionThe Laboratory "Prove in Piena Scala" conducts mechanical tests on standard or customized samples for specific needs, particularly focused on Oil Gas, but also engaging in activities for qualification and development of new components across various applications (aerospace, defense, marine, etc. ).

Most tests are conducted based on specific customer requests, creating tailored test benches for use. Availability for long-term travel to Perdasdefogu (Nuoro) is required. Job ResponsibilitiesPerform tests in accordance with European and international standards for component and/or material qualification. Conduct tests according to established procedures with clients for field performance characterization of test components. Execute "fit for purpose" tests to determine causes of specific field problems. Prepare mechanical tests on full-scale components, making minor mechanical adjustments to test equipment as necessary. Regularly verify the condition of testing equipment and carry out necessary calibration and maintenance according to user manuals. Collaborate with other team members to carry out work and resolve any laboratory issues. EducationHigh School Diploma/GED in Mechanical Studies or Science.
