IRCCS San Raffaele Scientific Institute in Milan is looking for a Research Technician to join the Human Inherited Neuropathy Unit, led by Alessandra Bolino.

Research work in our laboratory integrates basic and clinical research through a translational approach and it is devoted to i) unravel the mechanisms at the basis of myelin formation and maintenance in the nerve and to ii) interfere with these mechanisms and pathways to ameliorate human diseases of the nervous system.

**Main activities**:

Maintenance, breeding and genotyping of mouse colonies;

Treatments of mouse models with various drug administered by gavage (orally) or by intraperitoneal injection;

Morphological analyses of the peripheral nervous system;

Collaborate to establish and manipulate primary Schwann cell/DRG co-cultures;

Supervision of laboratory activities and organization.

**Who we are looking for**:

Previous experience in laboratory activities and animal facility;

Organization skills; precision and accuracy.
