Piedmont, SC 29673, USA Req 4527 Quality Assurance Technician (2nd shift) Summary/Purpose The quality assurance technician will support manufacturing and follow policies and procedures related to successful operations. Essential Duties and Accountabilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the essential duties satisfactorily. Receiving Inspection Performance Testing Product Testing Manufacturing troubleshooting Ability to work in a team environment Other duties as assigned by management Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has no supervisory responsibilities. Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Metrology and gage calibration experience Knowledge of GD&T and SPC Experience with SPC, receiving inspection, performance testing, product testing and manufacturing troubleshooting Willing/able to learn to operate and maintain various equipment at an acceptable level with an emphasis on quality, IATF 16949 standard, ISO 14001, safety/environmental, 5S and productivity Able to understand and demonstrates standard work Proficient English communication skills, verbal and written Regular and punctual attendance is required Education and Experience: High School Diploma or GED equivalent Work Environment/Physical Demands: Work shift as assigned and overtime is required, as needed. Will be required to do the following throughout the shift: standing, bending, pushing, pulling, reaching above and below shoulders, moving left to right repetitively, grasping, and fine finger dexterity. May be required to lift during shift up to 40 lbs. Specific vision abilities required with this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. The performance of this position requires exposure to manufacturing areas which require the use of personal protective equipment such as steel toed shoes, safety glasses with side shields.
