Technology and Projects Manager
**Locations**: Austria (Pöchlarn, Kremsmünster), Croatia (Hum na Sutli), Czech Republic (Kyjov), Italy (Trezzano sur Naviglio), Slovakia (Nemšová, SK)
Technology and Project Manager is a part of Group Technical department responsible for leading end-to-end capital industrial asset projects within Vetropack Group.
As Technology and Project Manager you will have a main responsibility to deliver industrial projects that span across one or more business units, leading (in the matrix) a multidisciplinary international team towards the project's cost schedule and scope targets achievement.
This role is for you if you have strong experience in glass - industry and you are ready for a next step in your career and the opportunity to run big investment projects.
This role reports to Technology and Projects Director at Vetropack Group.
Key responsibilities
Managing project on a day-to-day basis, verifying that the project produces the required deliverables of quality, within the specified constraints of time and cost and to achieve the potential benefits defined in the business case.
Managing a variety of issues including risks analysis and project change requests
Provide leadership and guidance for the project team to meet project goals, adhering to their responsibilities and project milestones.
Lead all engineering, permitting, purchasing, construction, inspection, cold & hot testing, and hand-over activities of the project.
Ensure (technical and managerial) coordination and communication among the project stakeholders, both internal (process & technologies, operations, maintenance, quality, HSE, purchasing, finance ) and external (engineering offices, suppliers, contractors, third parties etc).
Conduct all relevant project reviews with the participation of key team members: design, operability & maintainability, process hazards analysis, constructability.
Align with VP standards and best practices.
Conduct engineering studies, including appropriate tendering, prepare the CAPEX documentation (budget within +/- 10% accuracy) and request project approval(s).
Prepare comprehensive project management plan, including risk analysis and master schedule showing key milestones and critical path.
With the assistance of purchasing, qualified engineering, suppliers & construction firms, develop RFQ's, evaluate bid proposals, and place recommendations, contracts and purchase orders.
Coordinate the selected suppliers/contractors, including Goods Receipts, invoices verification, change control and contract close-outs.
Control, report and take all necessary actions to maintain project performances against scope, quality, HSS&E, budget and schedule original plan.
Arrange for FAT of key process equipment prior to delivery.
**Site construction management**: Experience in Construction Management, Safety Coordination, Quantity Surveying, and Quality Control of site activities, setting the right priorities and contractors management.
Perform inspections, cold and hot testing of the project.
Ensure the close-out of project punch lists.
Ensure equipment technical files are transferred to the respective maintenance department.
Obtain hand-over(s) (formally transferring care, custody, and control of the completed project) to the operation team.
Prepare closeout reports and financially close the project in collaboration with Finance.
Prepare and present the project status to the management.
Ensure HSS&E matters (design, construction and start-up) of the project are managed at the highest standards in compliance with local laws and company policies.
Define success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties throughout project life cycle.

**Requirements**:
Bachelor's degree, Mechanical Engineering
English level B2 minimum in spoken and written language
Minimum 10 years of experience in project leadership
Experience in similar roles leading large teams
