The Technology Director is responsible for overseeing all aspects of Merkle's technology infrastructure and strategy. This includes managing the development and implementation of new technologies, ensuring the security and efficiency of existing systems, and leading a team of technology professionals.
The Technology Director reports directly to the MD, guide the Analytics area and collaborates closely with other department heads to align technology initiatives with the company's overall goals and objectives.
**Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the company's technology strategy and guideline mainly in Martech field;
- Oversee the design, development, and implementation of technology solutions;
- Manage client's business strategy;
- Manage a team of 30 technology professionals, providing guidance and support;
- Collaborate with other departments to identify and address technology needs and opportunities for our clients;
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in technology to drive innovation;
- Manage technology budgets and resources effectively;
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools to enhance efficiency and productivity;
- Establish and enforce technology policies and procedures to ensure compliance and data protection.
**Qualifications
- University degree in computer science or a related field;
- Previous experience of minimum 6-8 years in technology leadership roles;
- Strong knowledge of emerging technologies and industry trends: Analytics, data visualization platform and Project management expertise;
- Previous work experience within the space of technology, data, and customer experience, either at a consultancy, an agency, technology vendor or client-side;
- Proven track record of successfully implementing and managing complex technology projects;
- Excellent communication, leadership and sales skills;
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills in English;
- Strategic understanding of the customer experience revolution.
