Technology Manager Refining Catalysts Emea - Remote

**RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide technical consulting to customers including troubleshooting - and conduct workshops on technology and innovation topics tailor-made for customer requirements and operations, all in alignment with Account Managers and Technical Service Managers.
- Train Account Managers and Technical Service team on latest FCC / Additive catalyst technology while taking over Account Management for selected customers to be able to understand current market, customer and team requirements.
- Back-up Technical Service team for all special projects including start-up support and provide the technical proposal / quotation basis of design, performances, warranties, liabilities in consultation with the Marketing Team.
- Translate customer feedback into continuous improvement and innovation projects.
Collaborate with Product Management and external parties (e. g.
universities. . ) to implement the innovation projects.
- Establish and implement sustainability strategy in alignment with the global Catalysts business and develop tangible solutions on sustainability challenges in FCC catalyst technology and refinery operations to address customer and industry needs.
- Drive new product launches into the market in alignment with R&D, Technology, Product Management, Marketing and Sales.
- Regularly present innovation and technology topics at conferences, seminars, webinars, and customer workshops.
**QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor/Master/Phd in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry or comparable.
- At least 5 years of experience in a technical role in the field of chemicals or catalysts.
- In-depth understanding and experience in refinery operations, preferably in FCC unit.
- Extensive experience in roles that required managing customers while having a technical focus.
- Strong IT skills, preferably in modelling software.
- Team skills are required to be able to work across organizational boundaries.
- Excellent communication skills, fluency in English and preferably knowledge of another relevant language.
- Willingness to travel to on-site customer meetings mainly in Core Europe (Benelux, France, UK, Germany etc. )
and selectively Middle East and Africa.
