We are seeking a highly skilled Fibre Technician to join our team.

As a Fibre Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of fibre-optic communication systems.

You will be expected to work both independently and as part of a team, and have the ability to solve complex technical problems.

Key Responsibilities:

- Install Fibre optic cables and connections, including splicing and terminating fibre cables;

- Test and troubleshoot fibre-optic communication systems;

- Perform routine maintenance on fibre-optic communication systems;

- Respond to service calls to repair communication systems;

- Analyze and diagnose equipment malfunctions, technical problems and device failures;

- Complete jobs and other documentation as required by company policies and procedures;

- Maintain a safe work environment and adhere to company safety guidelines.

**Qualifications and Skills Required**:

- **University degree** (in engineering) obtained from an **Italian university**:

- **University degree** (in engineering) obtained in **another State and recognised** by the Italian Government

- **Technical diploma** (in electronics or electrical engineering) obtained from an **Italian upper secondary school**:

- Minimum six-year experience in fibre-optic installation, maintenance, and repair;

- Strong technical knowledge of fibre-optic communication systems;

- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills;

- Ability to lift equipment weighing up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces;

- Valid driver's license and dependable transportation;

- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays;

- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures and safety guidelines.

- **MUST BE fluent in english**_

**Salary**: €14. 00 - €20. 00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Bergamo, Lombardia: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
