Hauptaufgaben Incumbent serves as the Operations and Maintenance Division, Maintenance Program Manager and primary point of contact for all Directorate of Public Works (DPW) O&M in-house and contractual preventive maintenance tasks and projects.

Responsible for overall management, control, development, coordination, and execution of assigned programs.

The Maintenance Program Manager is responsible for day-to-day coordination within the DPW to define maintenance needs, quantify effort required, and assess available resources to provide the services.

Develops plan of action pertinent to the evaluation of assigned projects with the program.

Is independent in resolving problem issues and working with shops Foremen and Branch chief.

Reviews and monitors overall program execution and makes adjustments as necessary based on circumstances and priorities.

Consults and coordinates activities with subject matter experts, representatives of Host Nation and other Federal agencies, clients and partners, business concerns, and others.

Incumbent implements corporate decisions, guidance, laws, regulations, security considerations and policy into the development of assigned projects.

Provides periodic briefings on program status to agency/customer and others.

Is responsible for the management, control, coordination, and execution of assigned projects by Chief Utilities.

Researches, interprets, analyzes and applies recurring facility maintenance and customer service, data standards and analysis; industrial control systems; utilities, electrical, and mechanical systems, warranty management; contingency planning; non-recurring purchase contracts; and engineering guidelines, polices and regulations.

He/she reviews individual project submittals for maintenance and/or repair of facilities and utility infrastructure to ensure the scope of work sufficiently covers all aspects of maintaining efficient mission support to the building/facility occupant(s).

Ensures that individual project objectives, milestones and budgets are accomplished within the overall program objectives.

Prepares and answers correspondence relevant to preventive maintenance programs.

Prepares fact sheets, issue papers and decision documents as necessary.

Prepares and coordinates Service Contract packages to the Regional Contracting Office (RCO) for procurement.

When questions arise during procurement, technical and legal reviews, prepares the draft DPW response to ensure a minimum of time lost in the procurement process.

Prepares project management plans, scopes of work, government costs estimates and other project-related documents.

Works closely with the Business Operations and Integration Division (BOID) to ensure there are no conflicts of interest, over-scheduling of available manpower/resources and that the combined efforts of the O&M Preventive Maintenance Plan and the BOID Work Reception and Scheduling Branch are in the best interest of the DPW.

Prepares the preventive maintenance program for utilities systems and coordinates program execution with Shop Foreman.

NOTE: Tour of duty is 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday from 08. 00 to 17. 00, including a 1-hour uncompensated lunch break.

Qualifikationsanforderungen MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Applicants must meet the qualification requirements in the Qualification Standards Handbook as summarized below.

EXPERIENCE: Applicants must have a minimum of 1 year of Specialized Experience equivalent to at least the UA-01 grade level.

Specialized Experience is experience that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled.

NOTE: candidate is required to possess excellent knowledge of, and fluency in both the Italian and English languages with flawless writing skills.

Auswahlkriterien auswählen A certified Diploma di Perito Industriale Capotecnico in Elettrotecnica e Automazione or Meccanica is required for this position.

A degree in Engineering (mechanical or electrical) is strongly desired but not required.

Beschäftigungsbedingungen Registration as professional engineer in "Ordine degli Ingegneri" within one year of employment is strongly desired but not required, while registration within one year of employment in "Ordine dei Periti Industriali e dei Periti Industriali Laureati" is required with authority to sign, as "Responsabile Tecnico" the "Dichiarazione di Conformita" (Declaration of Conformity) for all extensions, alterations, modifications, repairs and maintenance works on mechanical and electrical systems for which a 'Dichiarazione di Conformita' is mandatory by law DM 37/08.
