The University of Padua is seeking a talented and experienced Research Technologist to join our new laboratory for experimental quantum computing and simulation with trapped ions.

This exciting role offers the opportunity to develop a new research line in a thrilling and active academic environment, and to be at the forefront of quantum computing research.

Key Responsibilities: Support the design and setup of the Quantum Computing laboratory equipment Interface and support students and technical staff Assist in software development for the quantum computing machine Required Skills and Experience: Experience in design and maintenance of lasers systems, control electronics, ultra-high vacuum systems PhD in physics or professional experience in related areas Solid knowledge in atomic physics Job details: Research Technologist – 1st level ( Duration: 24 months Full-time, on-site Seniority levelEntry level
