CANDIDATES THAT WOULD IMPRESS US PROFILE: You graduated with a Master of Engineering or Computer Science and have significant experience in architecture and engineering systems. You are a leader willing to engage and develop your team through collaborative work and challenging approaches. You are responsible and show a great sense of initiative. COMPETENCIES: You are aware of the description of the operational concept. You have a deep knowledge of the field and its technical strategy. You are familiar with operational analysis. You can work in co-engineering (Lean Thinking, Obeya). You understand the different actors involved in the project and can contextualize and change the perspective (political, economic, social, technical, environmental, legal). You are familiar with Concept, Design, Experimentation and Simulation tools, as well as modeling tools (such as MBSE). You are familiar with working with Integration Verification Validation Qualification and Agile methods. LIFE AS A SYSTEM ARCHITECTURE ROLE As a System Architecture Role within Thales, you will: Define and recommend candidate architectures for the corresponding level (solution or solution element) to satisfy stakeholder expectations according to the standards and re-use policies, the technology roadmap and the business strategy. Establish the solution architecture by making trade-offs between stakeholder expectations, technical and technological solutions and costs, risks and schedule, document the associated artefacts (architecture justification in the design and justification file, product breakdown structure, system/segment design document) and approve the resulting lower-level specifications (internal or external). Assist in the solution development cycle and in defining the co-engineering approach. Manage, throughout the project life cycle, the assignment of the corresponding level requirements, the management of performance evaluation and critical parameters, the definition of interfaces, and the technical negotiation between different stakeholders (internal or external).
