Job Description: Telespazio is a joint venture between Leonardo (67%) and Thales (33%) and one of the world's biggest suppliers of satellite solutions and services. The Digital Engineer is an expert in designing, implementing and testing the overall digital solutions, services, and front-ends. She/he is natively oriented to full-stack engineering and development. This includes cloud native application design and development.

The digital engineer shall have hands-on experience (at least 3 years working experience) designing and coding enterprise applications using multi-device, multi-platform development based on Microservices architectures paradigm.

Candidate must be able to work collaboratively in a team environment. She/he should be familiar with Agile SCRUM methodology.

Activities/Responsibilities: To design, develop and unit test digital solutions and end-to-end applications on ever-changing modern technology in public/hybrid cloud environmentsTo adopt DevSecOps automated pipelinesTo contribute to the technical project documentation (such as Requirements Documents, Operations Concept Document, Operations Engineering Plan, User and Administration Manual, etc. )To assist in project reviews if/when requiredCompetencies: Proven Experience in Microservices applications designIn-depth knowledge of Programming Languages: Java, PythonIn-depth knowledge of Front-end techniques: Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, JQuery, Bootstrap, Flask, LiferaySoftware design principlesKnowledge of security coding standards (OWASP, CWE/SANS)Knowledge of IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, and CaaS conceptsKnowledge of Container Orchestration frameworks (Kubernetes, OpenShift, etc)Knowledge of Linux and Linux scriptingBachelor or master's degree in Computer Science (3 or 5 years)High-level written and verbal English communication skillsQuality standards and provisionsFurther Skills: Knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle)Knowledge of non-relational databases and analytics (MongoDB, Elastic)Knowledge about configuration management domain (GIT, GITLAB, etc)Experience in Multiple technology stacks application developmentExperience writing for Applications automation in CloudExperience with at least one Commercial Public Cloud (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, etc)Seniority: Junior
