Tender & Customer Leader, Italy & Greece (Hybrid)
Job Description Summary**: The Tender & Customer Leader will be responsible for supporting the entire end-to-end sales cycle, from pre-tender engagement activity to customer care post-tender.
They will focus on providing expertise to best support tender strategy full cycle management including support on tender segmentation and prioritization, bidding strategy, execution, and performance tracking till Customer Service efficiency.
**Main responsibilities will include**:
- Define, handle, and implement a completely new role as an operational link between external third-party Customer Service and Commercial Operation.
- Ensure a high-quality regional public tender end-to-end process including internal management of all matters of preparation, market access strategy alignment, solutions design and bid submission for existing and target Italian regions.
- Support, at the country level, pricing approvals process and recommendation for tender and contract price changes (country support, validation, impact assessment - overall preparation for the final decision submission).
- Supervise and maintain a mapping of all upcoming local and regional public tender in Italy and support efficient tender segmentation and prioritization strategy.
- Support in planning Pre-Tender Engagement activities to drive innovation in tender procurement (value beyond price) and emphasize standard processes in tender frameworks.
- Support in bidding with winning prices through driven insights and pricing trends analysis.
- Track tender execution and structured simulation, support in driving corrective actions if needed.
- Driving innovations in tenders and contracts management: work directly with Commercial Operation, Legal and Marketing to implement and finalize tender agreements and contracts.
- Tender system and decision supporting tools: handle and support the process of integration of the tender information with demand planning and sales realization together with the Sales Team.
- Maintain and develop relevant tender and contracts critical metrics and analytics to support the strategy and advise the decisions (ex.
Post-Tender Analysis) together with Marketing acting as Customer Service support.
**About you**:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required.
A master's degree is preferred.
- 3 years or more of Tender Management, Customer Service and Pricing.
- 5 years of pharmaceutical or medical device-related industry/organization experience.
- Proficient spoken and written English, Spanish proficiency is an asset.
- Good knowledge of tender systems (archetypes) in Italian Regional markets.
- Good understanding of EU/Italian public procurement and competition law.
- Salesforce, AS400, SAP expertise, Italian Regional Public Tenders database expertise (ex.
SINTEL, START, etc.
).
