The Tender Specialist is responsible for supporting and managing all sales operations activities including tender and contracts management, new account activations, supporting sales quoting, instrument & reagent reporting and ad hoc project support as needed.
This position is part of the Customer Service department and will be located in Buccinasco (Hybrid).

**In this role, you will have the opportunity to**:
Prepare and submit tender responses on behalf of Cepheid in line with the commercial strategy ensuring they are submitted on time.
Responsible for customer pricing - ensuring prices are created in SAP, and dealing with annual renewals
Provide support to a specified Sales Region in the closure of commercial agreements for Cepheid - working in line with sales, order management, contracts and legal teams if required
Process all contract requests per policy guidelines, obtaining approvals as necessary.
Attend relevant sales ops & legal meetings to ensure all non-standard contracts and pricing issues are addressed appropriately.
Document, incorporate and share information to sales teams regarding contract updates, pricing, promotions, new product launches and related policy changes.
Design and provide ad-hoc reports to team members, Manager and other departments as requested.
Lead daily Visual Daily Management meetings with the rest of the team to drive improvements in key metrics with a continuous improvement attitude to drive customer satisfaction.
Participate in process project improvement efforts for Sales Operations through collaborative system automation projects and the documenting of new or enhanced processes.
Actively participate in cross functional projects as assigned by Manager.
**The essential requirements of the job include**:
High school or University degree (or equivalent experience)
Minimum 2 years of Tender Management experience, ideally in the Diagnostics/Healthcare industry
Experience with ERP systems (SAP), CRM systems (SFDC) and MS Office (Excel)
**It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in**:
Proficient English
Maximum 10% local and international travel may be required
