Tendering Engineer– English and Spanish speaking Centrifugal Compressors Job Summary: The position will provide tactical sales support for Ingersoll Rand Compressors Europe division, focused on the centrifugal portfolio.

The incumbent will provide inside sales support through application guidance, competitive positioning, specification review, and special options pricing/delivery.

Position requires fluency in English and Spanish (the candidate is expected to analyze customer requests in both languages, elaborate full technical and commercial proposals, and interact with local Sales teams and, when required, directly with customers).

Responsibilities: Product Application: Provide support to the sales force in application/use of equipment through customer requirements.

Competitive and Solutions Strategy: Develop competitive and solutions strategies in conjunction with the sales teams to position Ingersoll Rand solutions in an effort to capture orders.

Create proposals: Review Customer Requisitions/Specifications, select the best compressor from our optimized Portfolio, obtain vendor quotes for outside purchase items, and prepare best-in-class proposals in the local language, including delivery and price of equipment.

Provide timely, accurate, and complete replies to inquiries from the Sales Team.

Technical Support: Provide product technical guidance aligning customer requirements and interface with our Engineering team for any special requests.

Act as a technical resource to support sales efforts and interface between Sales and Factories (Planners, Quality, etc. )

during the complete Tendering stage.

Understand contract requirements and convert them into company language in the order write-up.

Order Entry: Support the Order Management team, ensuring the order is correctly entered in our system.

Customer Management: Participate in project kick-off meetings and host customers during plant visits during the tendering phase.

Qualifications: 0-3 years of experience in Application Engineering, Contract Engineering, Product Management, and/or Sales, preferably in Rotating equipment products or Industrial markets.

PC proficient to include Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.

Knowledgeable in Centrifugal Compressor Technology or other similar Rotating Equipment.

Language Skills: fluent in English and Spanish.

Italian language is not a mandatory requirement.

Team Player.

Good Technical Aptitude with Commercial Awareness.

Ability to think objectively and drive connection and collaboration both outside and within the organization.

Travel Requirements:

10% Job location:

The position can alternatively be based in Madrid (Spain) for internal candidates or candidates who have experience with centrifugal compressor products, after a training period in Italy.
