Territory Manager
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Sets short
- and long-term strategy to develop and growth the business in the assigned region
- Drives execution of tactical plan accordingly with commercial excellence processes
- Achieves sales goals and key performance indicators
- Strengths partnership with strategic accounts and engagement of KOLs
- Develops and implements customer specific action plans
- Builds working relationships with laboratory, clinical, and administrative stakeholders
- Leads all pre-sales activities, coordinating with internal functions and external partners
- Drives increase adoption and test demand engaging with physician and infection control managers
- Promotes the clinical value to head of clinical departments and hospital management
- Expands instrument installed base and increase sales per system
- Increases share-of-wallet and product portfolio on existing accounts
- Develops and delivers presentations and proposals, including specific tender documentation
- Negotiates and manages contracts with accounts of the assigned regions
- Assures Sales Funnel and CRM (SFDC) are always updated and representative market opportunities
- Works closely with marketing, market access, and all supporting functions
TRAINING REQUIREMENT
- Value-base selling training
- Complete all assigned and required training satisfactorily and on time
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
**Location and Travel Arrangement**:
- Being based in Campania (priority) or Puglia
- Able to travel 90% of the time
**Education**:
- Bachelor's degree in biology, biotechnologies, or other medical-field related university degrees with 5+ years of related work experience OR Master's degree in field with 3+ years of related work experience OR Doctoral degree in field with 0-2 years of related work experience.
- Scientific background - Biology/Pharmacy
- Microbiology knowledge
- Specific education on molecular diagnostics, virology or microbiology field is a strong plus
**Experience, knowledge, and skills**:
- Sales experience in medical devices or pharma are considered mandatory
- Previous experience in molecular diagnostics is going to be a preferential element
- Commercial experience
- Experience with physicians and clinical setting in a plus
- Knowledge of the Hospital Environment and Public Tender Process
- Performance driven, and Customer focused
- Self-motivating and able to performer the job responsibilities with mínimal guidance
- Able to being energized in a completive market
- Being team player and able to influence others with lateral leadership
- Able to make autonomous decisions within the given delegation
- Sales acumen and basic understanding of financial metrics and indicators
