General description: We are seeking a dynamic Territory Sales Manager for the Italy region, primarily focusing on sales in the food and beverage market.
The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in developing their sales career, with a particular emphasis on developing new business and fostering long-lasting customer relationships.
French language proficiency is essential, and knowledge or experience in microbial detection and screening is a significant plus.
Responsibilities: Optimize sales resources to effectively accelerate profitable sales to meet monthly, quarterly and annual goals while managing a territory operating budget Work in partnership with the Technical Support Specialist to develop and execute an annual accelerated business growth plan that includes new product launches, price management, distribution management, etc Industry Awareness: Monitor appropriate segments and competitive offerings, adjust tactics and go to market strategy accordingly Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers, distributors and non-customers within the territory Utilize and update CRM MS 365 platform daily to manage the assigned territory and opportunity pipeline Approach the position with a can-do, entrepreneurial spirit, strong business acumen, and a desire to drive accelerated sales growth Team Player: Must be able to work closely with the Technical Support Specialist, Marketing, Applications and R&D teams to overcome customer obstacles, maintain and gain new business Ensures compliance with and/or follows all organizational systems, programs, training, policies, and procedures as required and complies with relevant legal mandates seeking guidance as necessary Actively supports and participates in the safety program, both for self-protection and the protection of other employees, by reading and abiding by all requirements in the Safety Manual and Injury Illness Prevention Program (IIPP) Carries out all responsibilities in an honest, ethical and professional manner Must be able to fulfill essential job function in a consistent state of alertness and safe manner Handles reasonable and various other duties as delegated by Regional Sales Director, Northern Europe Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in business management or life sciences or related field required Minimum 4 years' experience of B2B sales required that includes: Experience in sales in the food & beverage market Experience in sales in the health care market Experience in sales in the life sciences market Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint) required Basic knowledge of microbiology &/or food safety market preferred but not required Working conditions: Will be required to travel May occasionally work evenings and/or weekends
