Test Automation Engineer Electrical Drives Your job: Working together with software development and hardware design teams on testing concept and being responsible for test specification on the communication modules; Design, develop and maintain test cases for electrical drive controllers. Analyzing the measured results and writing test conclusions in test protocol; Active participation in solving complex problems related to the tested products as well as the test equipment; Maintaining and optimizing existing test methodologies; Creating technical research and feasibility studies and new test solutions; Support testing aspects of qualification as well as (functional safety) certification of the products. Technical Competencies and Requirements: Master's or Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Computer Science, Automation etc. ; Excellent written and spoken English, knowledge in German language will be considered as an advantage; Professional Competencies and Requirements: Experience with embedded C/C++ development; Programming experience with Python is a plus; Basic knowledge in remote IO systems and PLC programming (Festo PLC, Siemens TIA, Beckhoff, Rockwell etc. ); Practical experience with communication protocols and OSI-model, where experience with fieldbus protocols – EtherCAT, PROFINET, EtherNet/IP– is considered as an advantage; Knowledge in electronics measurement equipment and electrical measurements; Previous experience in Functional Safety is an advantage.
