Co-founder & CEO at smalldata. ai | Helping businesses unlock the power of data | Building a future where innovation thrives Role Overview Our client, based in Rome, is seeking candidates for the position of Test Automation Specialist to join a multi-disciplinary team.

This is a contract position, and the candidate is expected to work in a hybrid mode (50% at the client site).

The ideal candidate has experience in developing and running automated tests to ensure quality.

They are expected to work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product owners, business analysts, and other QA engineers, to identify test requirements and implement automated testing solutions.

Required skills At least 2 years of experience in a similar role.

Hands-on experience with Microsoft Playwright for test automation.

Knowledge of Rest API and GraphQL testing.

Familiarity with message broker systems, especially Apache Kafka.

Experience with CI/CD and a strong understanding of version control systems.

Other desired skills: Familiarity with RedHat Openshift.

Understanding of agile testing practices.

Strong communication skills with proficiency in English (at least B2).

This is a contract position, and the candidate is expected to work in a hybrid mode (the client offices are in Rome).

The candidate should be available to start at the beginning of March 2025.

The initial contract is for a duration of 6 months, and the duration of the contract is likely to be extended by another 6 months.
