Job Role Summary FRENCH LOCALE Paralegal Support for Dispute-Related Law Functions Job Role Responsibilities Under the direction of an attorney, provides a variety of professional legal support services in connection with litigation, arbitration, administrative agency proceedings and other disputes involving the Company. Maintains a working knowledge of court and/or agency rules and procedures. Possesses a strong understanding of the corporate organization and develops contacts/resources within the organization. Investigates claims, conducts interviews, issues/monitors legal holds, coordinates all phases of the discovery process (with heavy emphasis on eDiscovery), performs legal and factual research, and provides all necessary support up to and including trial and appellate proceedings. Possesses strong technical skills, as numerous applications are regularly used (e. g. , Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Atlas, Introspect, Relativity, and other electronic document review applications, Law Matter Management, Pacer, and Westlaw). Interfaces with clients, outside counsel, opposing counsel, court and agency personnel, fact witnesses, experts, vendors, etc. Expected Level of Proficiency Review the level of proficiency needed in this Job Role for both Functional Skills and Behavioral Skills.
