For the LBU Electrification Line, Distribution Solutions (ELDS) in the experimental testing laboratories of development and certification on Medium and Low Voltage switchgear and equipment, we are looking for a Testing & Laboratory intern.

Contract: stage.

**This position reports to**:

R&D Team Lead

**Your responsibilities**:

- Performing experimental and type tests in accordance with international reference standards (IEC standards).

- Drafting of test report in Italian/English language.

- Use of laboratory benches such as pulse generators, voltage transformers, current generators.

- Use of electrical and/or mechanical measuring instruments, oscillographs, multimeters, torque wrenches, pressure switches, position transducers.

- Connecting electrical connections such as busbars and/or power cables, sensors and instruments to perform the test set-up of pulse tests, industrial frequency, partial discharges, heating, mechanical tests, climatic etc.

- Development of test automation systems and maintenance of test equipment.

- Develop dashboard in Power BI for analysis of laboratory KPIs and create database of laboratory instrumentation searchable by laboratory technicians.

**Your background**:

- Electrical/Mechanical/Computer Technician, degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering.

- Knowledge of single-line and functional electrical schematics.

- Computer tools: good knowledge of OS Windows Seven or higher, Outlook, Office package.

- Good knowledge of Italian and English.

- Aptitude in developing innovation processes, results orientation, working in a team, excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
