Our European S&T Group is looking for a passionate food science professional, specialized in thermal processing.

We're seeking a Thermal Process Scientist to lead our efforts in ensuring the safety and shelf-stability of low-acid foods.

In this position, you would be part of a dynamic team dedicated to enhancing consumer well-being through our premium product portfolio.

Key Responsibilities: Spearhead the development and optimization of thermal processes for food safety and quality.

Conduct in-depth scientific studies, including heat penetration and thermal-death-time experiments.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align product design with manufacturing capabilities.

Manage process deviations and ensure continuous improvement in product safety.

Oversee project budgets and potentially lead a team of dedicated professionals.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations and quality standards.

What You'll Bring to the Role: 5+ years of experience as a Thermal Process Authority.

A Bachelor's degree or higher in Food Science, Nutrition, Biological Sciences, Food Engineering, or a related field.

A strong foundation in formula development and food science principles.

Proven ability to design experiments, execute projects, and analyze data.

Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to drive cross-functional collaboration.

Proficiency in productivity and statistical software.

Fluent in English; Italian would be a plus.
