Third-Party Collaborations Specialist
Job Overview and Responsibilities As Third-Party Collaborations Specialist, you will be part of the Solvay Materials R&I Digital & Compliance team to support our business across the board, bring value and ensure compliance on various customer interactions and R&I projects.
You will be involved in the end-to-end process related to external collaborations between Commercial & R&I teams and third parties such as customers, universities, start-ups and external labs.
This process is continuously evolving from a strategic standpoint, to legal obligations, and finally sometimes to external funding opportunities.
You will be fully engaged in the process, actively participating in shaping, improving and maintaining it.
The collaboration with the Company Functions/Experts in R&I, Intellectual Property, Finance and Funding areas is key, likewise the interactions and understanding of the needs of the various stakeholders involved. You will handle a variety of activities of a confidential and critical nature independently and in a positive and professional manner. You will work with many partners in the organization in order to:
Coordinate the Third-Party Collaborations process granting the adoption across the organizationEnsure the continuous improvement of the process, taking care of the internalCompany needs as well as the external requirements (partners/funding)Consolidate the required documentation needs to support the process compliance from Intellectual property, legal, finance & administration standpointsIdentify and keep up-to-date the administrative requirements when funding is involvedProvide the training to new employees and/or to people new in their rolesGenerate and maintain the External collaborations Dashboard about status, dynamics and proficiencyInteract with the Group Functions in order to share best practices across the Group Education and Experience High school degree in Chemistry & Material Engineering or in Administrative, Finance and Marketing or related field experience.
Skills A good understanding of the process logic associated with the capability to translate it into simple and lean workflowsGood applied process analysis skills, such as gap analysis, process architecture design and deploymentGood knowledge and/or experience with scientific projects, especially related to material development and/or chemistry & synthesis as well as administrative/finance management of projectsPassionate about scientific innovation, market challenges and customer understandingExcellent written and oral communication in English, any other language is a plus. Collaborative, open-minded, and innovative.
Additional Information For this position we will consider also Bachelor Degree in same fields
