Tihany Design is seeking a Senior / Intermediate Interior Designer to join its team in RomeInternationally acclaimed luxury hospitality design firm Tihany Design is seeking a talented and motivated designer to join the Rome studio. Requirements:Bachelor's or master's degree in interior design or architectureMinimum three to five years of experience in luxury hospitality/residential designProficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, SketchUp, MS OfficeExperience working on multiple projects and able to collaborate with project teams within the studio, skilled at time managementExperience working on different phases of the project, from concept design to DD set, including sourcing and documenting FFE design and/or selection and documentation of interior architectural finishesStrong communication skills including verbal, written, and visual, and ability to present internally to senior designers and principalsPositive attitude, flexible, and enthusiasticResponsibilities:Initiating unique design concepts and narratives for hospitality projects (including restaurant design) and developing full-scale design presentations including mood boards, plans, and elevationsDeveloping custom furniture, fixtures, and lighting designTaking ownership of all design phases of the project, from concept to schematic design, design development, material selection, and specificationsCoordinating, preparing, and assuring the quality of design documents, FFE specifications, and drawingsAssisting and collaborating with the Project Team in all phases of the projectManaging small-scale projects independently, coordinating and cultivating relationships with other project consultantsMeeting deadlines and ensuring the accuracy of all work producedAssisting and collaborating with the project team in conducting construction-phase activities including shop drawing review, requests for information, drawing and document updates, project record-keepingInteracting with various consultants on projects and vendorsDeveloping interior design resources (vendors, professional sources)Presenting and communicating design concepts internally and externally, orally and in writingMentoring support staff and junior designersTo apply:Please submit with 'interior designer' in the subject line.
