We are looking for a TMC Transport Planning Manager to join our Electrification business.

You will lead Transport Operations managing and optimizing team activities, monitoring transport costs, ensuring the expected service quality and productivity levels of the Planning Team.

**This position reports to**:

Trade & Transportation Manager

**Your responsibilities**:

- Monitor and develop processes in accordance with Customer requests with respect for ABB procedures, monitor the delivery of goods to external/internal customers.

- Utilize Transportation Management Systems to facilitate material movement, planning and scheduling, prepare and update monthly logistics schedule to ensure deliveries to production locations and coordinates product delivery schedule with Customers.

- Coordinate daily activities to track location and movement of shipments for all transport modes, when necessary re-routes freight as needed to meet demands minimizing costs; communicate fulfilment status to all the stakeholders.

- Work closely with transport service providers and brokers to assure efficient and effective execution of processes, assist in obtaining necessary transport permits and codes and prepares proper transportation paperwork and import and export documentation.

- Work closely with transport partners on resolving issues and providing direction; support the development and implementation of improved processes and systems and maintains master data.

- Share, launch and deliver continuous improvement projects within Transport Planning area.

Ensure (with TMC Manager support) that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, skilled and directed.

**Your background**:

- At least 3-4 years of experience as a transport planning manager and at least 2 years of experience in the role as team manager.

- Knowledge of TMS (transport management System) and Microsoft Office.

- Knowledge of SAP will be considered a plus.

TMC Transport Planning Manager.

- Excellent knowledge of English and Italian, both written and spoken.

- Resource management and problem solving skills, customer oriented, excellent relationship and Team building skills, flexibility and dynamism.
