**Tour Expert**:
**Aim of the position**:
As a Tour Expert, you will assure the achievement of revenue targets and Guest satisfaction on tour programs proposing tour packages during the cruise and assisting Guests on local excursions in adherence with Company's safety standards.
**Main Responsibilities**:
Establishes, develops and maintains relationships with Guests on board and on tours to generate new business by selling package tours in accordance with budgeted targets.
Maximizes revenues for the tour area suggesting new opportunities.
Oversees the correct organization of excursions and transfers from start to finish including the organization of back-office activities and preparation of all support material (i. e. , tickets, stickers, maps) in accordance with Tour Manager guidelines and planning.
Maximizes revenues for the tours area suggesting new opportunities in accordance with Tour Manager guidelines.
Monitors Guest activities during excursions to ensure compliance with service standards and safety procedures.
Reports to the Tour Manager about Guests' needs, interests and opportunities for new products and services to better fit Guest needs and increase company revenues.
Listens to Guest complaints (i. e. , sales, excursions) and informs the Tour Manager to find the appropriate solution, if needed, or ensure that other departments are punctually informed.
Gives assistance to injured Guests on tours to ensure adequate support in accordance with Company procedures and guidelines.
Occasionally provides language translations during excursions to guarantee the language service during tours.
Takes an active part in a work environment that support a successful safety culture and is a dynamic contributor in following safety policy and procedures.
**Job Requirements**:
Secondary school diploma in Tourism or Languages
Degree in languages, tourism, communication is highly appreciated
Experience in Sales or as a Tour Operator is a plus
Sales skills are a plus
Computer literacy
English knowledge B2
Other two languages knowledge B2/C1
