Offer Description The research aims to assess the conditions for establishing a cross-border food hub in the Gorizia area.

Although the concept of a food hub is still evolving, it is understood here as both a physical and virtual space offering opportunities (economic and social) to redesign the network of relationships among various stakeholders in the region's food supply chains.

The research will focus on a preliminary investigation aimed at:

Identifying the actors involved in the supply chains.

Exploring the knowledge, cultures, and practices related to food in this region.

Analyzing the spatial impacts of food processes in the Gorizia area, including landscapes and locations dedicated to food production, distribution, consumption, and recycling.

The findings will be presented in a Cross-Border Food Atlas of the Gorizia Region.

The atlas will provide useful and necessary elements for constructing design scenarios (proposals on locations, stakeholders, and processes) to implement the food hub.
