**About the Role**:

We are currently looking for a talented **Toys Safety R&D Manager**.

In this role you who will support the **Surprise Technical Design & Innovation Manager** in managing the toys safety assessments.

The resource will manage a team of three resources.

The position is based in Alba (CN), IT.

**Main Responsibilities**:

- Makes sure that "Safety is Ferrero N°1 priority" is a commitment that is fully fulfilled in every moment of our activity

- Supports the professional growth of the team reporting to the position of Surprise Technical Design & Innovation Manager

- Coordinates the Toys Safety team

- R&D of fluodynamics software using Grasshopper and Phyton

- Guarantees the compliance with the regulations on work safety and environment

**SAFETY AT WORK & ENVIRONMENT

- Monitoring of the safety of workers Air flow labs

- Correct management of all the wastes produced supporting his professional manager in the periodical waste collection by external supplier

**SOFTWARE APPLICATION DEVELOPMENT AND MAINTENANCE

- Development and maintenance of fluidodynamics software by support of external IT advisors

- Development and maintenance of internal software samples management (Visual Basic, Access, Excel)

**MAINTENANCE RESPONSIBILITY

- Maintenance of general services - air pump compressors, lift devices according to safety standards and legislation, minor devices

**Who we are looking for**:

**Profile

- Master Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field

- Min 4 years of working experience in Mechanical R&D Labs

- Expertise of FMCG (preferable)

- Resources management

- Strong communication and influencing skills

- Analytical skills

- Result oriented

- Project management skills

- Dynamic, flexible, proactive approach and ability to work effectively in high - pressure situations within strict deadlines

**IT Skills

- Excellent command of PC (Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint)

- Knowledge of SAP is a plus

- CAD software

- Grasshopper, Visual Basic, Phyton, Access softwares

**Languages

- Fluent in English

- Italian Proficiency

- Other languages are considered a plus
