**JOB DESCRIPTION
- This position translates the global gourmet marketing strategies and product creations into local actions and tools.
The final goal is to support the realization of the commercial targets for the BU in this region and to gain market share within different segments.
**MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES & SCOPE
**Scope**:
- Is responsible for the trade marketing activities across the different channels, in line with the overall local growth. - Coordinating and implementing marketing activities (product launches, segment campaigns, digital activities, customer demos, events, PR, managing local budget investments) on a local level. - Sets up a local marketing yearly plans, presenting this at the Sales & Trade Marketing forums as required;
- Creates and adapt sales & communication tools targeted to main customers (end-users, distributors, semi-industrials, regional accounts) with ultimate goal of creating the demand for Barry Callebaut (greater focus on Gourmet brands) products
- Manages the planning, as well as the implementation of local digital activities (digital campaigns, Newsletters, Websites maintained ), all with the purpose to create or accelerate the demand of Barry Callebaut product portfolio and brands;
- Understands the local customer base by doing regularly visits to customers with sales teams & events (being the closest marketing function to end-user/ customer);
- Collaborates with the Global Brand Manager for planning and implementation of Product Launches and Campaigns.
(includes: planning, production, Point of Sales materials and promotions);
- Collaborates with Regional Marketing teams (Example: Marketing Segment team, Customer Experience team, trade marketing managers of other countries) in creating solid marketing activities to push regional and /or local strategy;
- Collaborates with Chocolate Academy chefs and Ambassadors Club to build sales trainings, promotions, product communication and inspiring materials to create demand;
- Organizes Customer-events and exhibitions in cooperation with internal stakeholders and support departments;
- Manages the total local trade marketing budget, finding the most efficient solutions.
**EDUCATION, LANGUAGE, SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree in Marketing/ Economics/Business/Food Engineering or comparable is needed
- Italian and English (full proficiency) and any other European language is a plus.
**ADDITIONAL CONSIDERATIONS OR COMMENTS
- Travel requirements: 10-20% Travel across within Country as required, and some external travel.
**CANDIDATE PROFILE
- At least 3 years of marketing management experience
- Relevant experience in Food industry and/or FMCG
- Former Experience/background in Sales is appreciated

- Experience in customer relationship management, in particular at large and complex organizations
- Proven experience with project management
- Ability to convince stakeholders engaging cross functional teams

- Understanding of the full manufacturing chain of the products
- Desirable technical background in food or interest
- Understands of operational challenges of the target customer
- Strong business acumen

- Digital marketing experience and/or digital native
